Care that began with love — and a promise.
Overcome LLC was built on a simple belief: every person deserves to be cared for with dignity, patience, and genuine human connection.
A small agency with a personal mission
Overcome LLC was founded to bring something the caregiving world is often missing: genuine care and genuine connection. We saw too many families navigating Idaho's DD and A&D Waiver systems alone — and too many clients treated like a number instead of a person.
So we built the kind of agency we'd want for our own family. Small enough to know every client by name. Personal enough that the owner is directly involved in care. Skilled enough, with highly-trained caregivers and CNAs, to support complex needs with confidence and heart.
"We don't just provide care. We help people overcome — and live with dignity, independence, and joy."
Meet the heart behind Overcome
Caregiving began for me at home, long before it became my profession. I grew up watching a family member care for someone we loved who lived with a disability, and I saw firsthand just how much that kind of love asks of a person day after day, often quietly, and often without much help.
That experience shaped how I understand this work, and how I understand family. When I later became a professional caregiver, I saw it again and again families carrying the full weight of caring for a loved one almost entirely on their own. And I saw individuals in professional care who weren’t receiving the genuine attention and connection they deserved, or staff who hadn’t been given the training to truly show up for them.
It became clear to me that caregiving was never meant to be carried alone. It takes a village to care well for the people we love and too often, that village is missing.
That is the belief Overcome is built on. We’re here to walk alongside families, to share the weight, and to make sure no one has to do this by themselves. And for those we serve who don’t have family close by, we hope to become that a chosen family, and a steady part of their village.
That’s what Overcome means to us: community, connection, and care that no one has to carry alone.
